Homes for sale!

Arbco has a mix of existing homes built in 1910-1940 era and new homes in 2 multi-unit buildings. The existing homes are typical of single family homes built before WWII in Madison, these are being sold on an "as is basis". The 2 new buildings, Erin House and Orchard House, express our interest in green and sustainable building methods, as well as best practices for cohousing communities. Units on site
Erin St. House The Erin Street House features the common meeting room and shared use rooms in the ground floor. This will be a 2 1/2 story building, similar in height to others in this neighborhood. There will be 14 living units here. Click on the diagram for more details.
Orchard St. House The Orchard Street House will be the home of 15 units. The entrance for the underground parking is at the south end of this building, which is on the right in this drawing. Click on the diagram for more details.

Here is a breakdown of all homes in the Arbco community showing the location, number of bedrooms (BR) and approximate size in square feet. Click on the address for more details on that home.

Accessibility Features

Arbco has several features that provide access for all. The new buildings (Erin and Orchard House) have elevators and accessible entrances at the ground levels. The central walkway outside the buildings is fully accessible, a challenge on a site with a 30 foot elevation change. The Common House, with it's large dining room and guest suites, is accessible to both the Arbco community and visitors. Two new units have extensive upgrades for accessibility, paid for in a cost sharing arrangement between Arbco and these members.

Equal Opportunity

The members of Arboretum Cohousing, Inc are committed to being an inclusive condominium community. To that end we welcome into membership people of all races, colors, national origins, genders, sexual orientation, religions, ages and abilities.
